The Business Development Manager at NLSQL in the USA
We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven, and experienced Business Development Manager to join our rapidly growing NLSQL B2B SaaS team in the United States. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and strategic individual with extensive connections and networking experience in the Healthcare, Retail, or Manufacturing industries to play a pivotal role in our company's growth and expansion. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in a generous equity vesting scheme and the potential to grow into a co-founder role within the organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to identify, target, and secure new clients within the Healthcare, Retail, or Manufacturing industries in the United States.
2. Leverage your extensive network and connections within these industries to generate leads, arrange meetings, and close deals.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment and support of business development initiatives.
4. Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
5. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target industries to foster long-term partnerships and drive revenue growth.
6. Represent NLSQL B2B SaaS at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate new business leads.
7. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions to prospective clients.
8. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement account management strategies to maximise customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
9. Regularly report on business development activities, progress towards goals, and sales pipeline status to senior leadership.
Requirements:
1. A minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the Healthcare, Retail, or Manufacturing industries.
2. Proven track record of successfully identifying, securing, and managing new business opportunities and achieving revenue growth targets.
3. Exceptional networking skills and a strong network of contacts within the target industries.
4. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
5. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
7. Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
8. Familiarity with SaaS solutions and an understanding of the unique value proposition they offer to businesses.
